The Wagyl Kaip Southern Noongar region includes the Menang, Goreng, Keneang, Wilman and Wudjari language groups from the Great Southern area of Western Australia.
The region is approximately is 52,246 sq km, and includes the towns of Albany, Bremer Bay, Boyup Brook, Bridgetown, Cranbrook, Denmark, Gnowangerup, Hopetoun, Jerramungup, Katanning, Kojonup, Mt Barker, Nyabing, Ravensthorpe, Tambellup and Walpole.
There are many cultural and significant sites in the region, including the Stirling Ranges and the proposed Mamang Maambakoort Marine Park. It lays east of the South West Boojarah region, and south of the Gnaala Karla Booja and Ballardong regions.
